It's about time!

Okay, it's about income flow, actually.

But it IS about time I made it easy to find my books, yah?

I have finally added the links to online stores.  So now, from the UnicAllen home page you can be immediately whisked to the proper site (lulu, amazon, or b&n) for book purchase - trade or electric.  Whoo hoo!  ("It's electric!  Doot do, doot do, doot do do, doot do!")  Someday, I may even add the cover pictures right on this site.  Gooooooo Lila!

Also, I added "tip me" buttons to the blogs.  Now you can express your appreciation for my creativity, wisdom, and/or entertaining learning process.  Goooooooooo You!

Meanwhile, Destiny Foretold is in the editing stages (if it actually makes it over the internet to the right person.)  It did not win the contest to which it was submitted, but I did receive some nice feedback.  And I have decided to actively search (again) for a publisher/agent/publicist/ someone to help the books achieve their destinies.  Self publishing was awesome - I really enjoyed the creative process, but I want more!  More time to actually write, more people to read my books, more book signings, and more adoring (and therefore highly intelligent) fans.  

More travel.  More things to write about.  More happiness.

Step by step, I move forward, and create more and more happiness.

All right.  I have just updated the description of the Life in Runes blog, because I no longer seem to be doing daily rune readings.

But my goal is to post something every day (except on my days off), to one of my blogs.    (You might notice I added a new blog - Teaching What I Need to Learn.)

Yes, Again.

Hello, hello, hello.  I apologize so much for the delay in postings.  After making such a wonderful start, I just quit being responsible to myself.

The good news (for me) is I have actually written things, I simply haven't posted them.  If any of you are friends from the days when letters where the major form of communication, you know it's one of my weaknesses.   I have written many letters that have gone nowhere.  Some of my stories would claim that honor as well, as they sit forgotten and unread in my files.

To make up for this disregard, I will post the things I have written now - though I will schedule one for each night.  I think there's three, right now.  I hope there's three, because I believe I am 3 weeks behind.

I can plead that retail has tried to own me, and I have put up a valiant fight.  And that would be partially true.  It has been a physically challenging few weeks, adjusting to the schedules and the learning and the standing.  (Oh, the standing.)  But I am not standing still permanently.  I am going to use this as a reason to drive forward on my other work - the reading, riting, rithmatic & rumination.  Time to continue my responsibility to myself, yes?

So.  Here we go.  Not starting over, because, let's be honest, we've been down that road 103 times.  In this life.  *G*.  But continuing forward.  Every day, taking one more step forward.  There may be resting, but there is no more going backward.  Whoo hoo!

Changing it up

And now we come to the time where we've done a lot of practicing with the Life in Runes posts, and some playing around with web site names.  

The schedule seems to be changing - the time of day I do the readings, when I am willing to struggle with computer complexities.  And I don't even know if this is a semi-permanent change in routine, or just for the moment.  All these ideas are rushing in!

So, immediate plans (and possible known reasons for unexpected behaviors with site or posts).

    Get a Life In Runes payment button set up and start asking for clients.

    Explore getting the domain name, UnicAllen.com to come directly to the blog.

    Possibly change the timing of Life in Runes posts.

    

Well, 2 (and 1/2)s enough for the moment yes?  One step at a time.
